Blue Door Lymphatics offers 60 and 90 minutes sessions of wellness-based Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a non-invasive, rhythmic bodywork technique that supports your body’s natural detoxifying processes, eases inflammation, and promotes deep relaxation.
$110 - 60 minute session
$150 - 90 minute session. First time clients are recommended to book a 90 minute session to allow time for new client discussion.
Post-Plastic Surgery Care with Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Certified in post-plastic surgery management with manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), Tom at Blue Door Lymphatics offers specialized care for you in both our office location as well as at your home in the immediate post-op period. Working in coordination with your plastic surgeon, you are provided a plan of care to meet your recovery needs.
Plastic surgery is a major medical procedure, and your post-operative recovery requires high-level clinical care. Standard massage isn't enough when your body is healing from surgery. Guided by over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Tom provides specialized MLD designed to reduce swelling, speed up recovery, and support optimal results. Beyond lymphatic care, Tom brings the clinical insight needed to assess your surgical wounds, monitor your healing progress, and flag potential complications early—keeping your surgeon informed every step of the way for a safe, smooth recovery.
How does MLD help with plastic surgery recovery? Pre-surgical MLD boosts lymphatic circulation, clears tissue congestion, and optimizes skin condition to support smoother outcomes and faster initial recovery. Post-surgically, it plays a critical role in early healing by gently directing fluid away from surgical sites—significantly reducing edema and bruising, easing discomfort, and preventing dense, restrictive fibrotic scar tissue.

Lymphedema Care with Complete Decongestive Therapy
Complete Decongestive Therapy is the gold standard for lymphedema care. Blue Door Lymphatics coordinates with your physician to create a plan of care for you utilizing this therapy.
Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) is an intensive, multi-week program designed to manage lymphedema effectively. Success relies on a strong partnership and true commitment from both therapist and client. Throughout the program, CDT incorporates specialized manual decongestion, multi-layer compression wrapping of affected areas, targeted exercise, proper skin care education, and fitting for long-term compression garments as you transition out of the intensive phase.
Due to the dedicated time and effort involved and because Blue Door Lymphatics coordinates with your physician to plan your care, clients must schedule an initial consultation to walk through the treatment process, set expectations, discuss pricing and costs, and ensure we are aligned for your care.
